This position is based in Richmond, Virginia. Manages the Division of Disease Prevention (DDP) Chlamydia/Gonorrhea Screening Programs. Serves as the DDP's liaison to local health departments and the Virginia Division of Consolidated Laboratory Services; interprets guidelines, policies and procedures; recommends statewide criteria and standards for Chlamydia and Gonorrhea screening; develops and monitors the achievement of grant objectives; coordinates activities relative to data collection and reporting; oversees quality assurance activities; provides technical assistance; and monitors activities for screening sites, budget and contracting issues, and laboratory contracts.
